The response of mind and body to stressful situations, if protracted, can cause many unpleasant and potentially harmful ailments, from headaches to heart problems.
By learning to slow down, listen to your inner wisdom and "read" your body and its reactions, by watching your thoughts and seeing behavioural patterns in yourself, you can begin to identify your responses to external stimuli. In this way you can recognise the triggers causing the stress and we can work on new ways of dealing with them, thus greatly reducing responses within the body and eliminating the harmful side-effects.
Stress management works beautifully in conjunction with other practices, and I will often use Reiki, Meditation & affirmations and Divine Healing Master Key to complement the stress management session. Additionally, because stress is often stored in the body and manifests as aches and pains, I will use Massage and Reflexolgy to aid the body's healing.
My belief is that you need to feel empowered and able to cope with situations when you are "out there", therefore the whole programme of stress management is dedicated to giving you tools which you can use in every day life.
Session Times & Prices
A stress management session typically lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. You may also be given tasks for “homework” in between sessions.
Sessions may vary in length and are charged at a rate of £40.00 per hour .
Telephone sessions are available at £20.00 per half hour.
